From saving to making

Make memory an active part of the work

MyMind helps you keep and rediscover what catches your attention. YouMind lets exact evidence stay active across research, Tasks, and editable outputs.

Keep the exact moment, not only the card

Save a timestamped YouTube transcript and screenshot, a podcast audio range, a web passage, or a PDF highlight—with your annotation attached. Each Pick remains reusable evidence inside the Board.

Keep the source inside the draft

Bring Files, Picks, and Notes into the Document Editor. Keep citations traceable to the original material, and review AI edits in Diff View before accepting or rejecting each change.

Give new Tasks the research you already did

Board Memory lets a new Task work with the Board, a Group, a File, or selected Picks and Notes. Carry that context into an article, deck, image, video, audio, or webpage.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose YouMind instead of MyMind?
Choose MyMind for private, low-friction capture, automatic organization, and rediscovery. Choose YouMind when saved material needs to become exact evidence for research, a developing point of view, and editable work that remains connected to its sources.
Is MyMind just a visual bookmark manager?
No. MyMind also supports notes and longer drafts, web highlights with source links, Reading Mode, PDFs, videos, Smart Spaces, Mind Links, AI summaries, semantic search Beta, export, and a Beta API. Its strength is personal memory and recall.
Can both tools save highlights?
Yes. MyMind saves web highlights and quotes with the original source link. YouMind adds timestamped YouTube transcript and screenshot Picks, podcast audio ranges, PDF highlights and annotations, and reusable Picks that can enter Tasks and drafts.
How is PDF and media research different?
MyMind analyzes PDFs with a title, tags, and TLDR, but its official documentation says the full PDF text is not indexed. YouMind lets you highlight and annotate PDFs, save timestamped video transcript and screenshot Picks, and keep podcast audio ranges as evidence.
Can MyMind create work from what I save?
MyMind offers Focus Mode for longer notes and drafts, but it says it is not a word processor. YouMind carries Files, Picks, and Notes into a source-aware Document Editor and other creative formats, with traceable citations, Diff View, and per-change accept or reject.
Can I use YouMind and MyMind together?
Yes. Use MyMind for private capture, visual memory, and serendipitous rediscovery. When a save becomes project material, add the original URL, PDF, video, or audio to a YouMind Board so exact evidence can stay traceable through research and creation.
